Industries — Where you’ll grow
You've probably heard the term ' a rising tide lifts all boats'. Nowhere is this more true than in choosing what industry to go into. For example: would the fax machine industry have been a good place to work in the 2000s, when the iPhone came out?
No! It was dying, and no matter how talented and hardworking the people in that industry were at that time, they were not going to be successful.
On the flip side, any knucklehead selling an iPhone when it came out would have done really well, regardless of talent.
This section is dedicated to making these dynamics work in your favour.
Roles — What fits how you think
Just like in rugby, where there are 15 people on a team with very different bodies and skills, there is a place for everyone in the business world. But that doesn't mean you can go anywhere. No, there is a right place for everyone. A small and skinny rugby player would not be very successful if they are playing second row, for example, but can be very successful as a scrum half. Likewise in business.

Your Career Guide
I’m 33, Irish, and based in London. Over the last decade I’ve:
- Started in Investment Banking at 21.
- Worked at Google in Sydney.
- Traveled South America solo, learned fluent Spanish.
- Wrote a book, launched a podcast, and built a startup (lost €50k at 25 — best lesson of my life).
- Helped scale two US tech companies from $50m to multi-billion valuations.
- Invested with Sequoia Capital into one of Europe’s most successful AI startups.
- Now launching another tech company.
Why do I do this?
At 18, I survived a heart attack with only a 1% chance to live. It taught me not to waste time.
But even with a “dream job” in banking, I still felt lost. I had no plan, no clarity, no roadmap. That’s why I built this program: to give you everything I wish I had in my early 20s.
